St. Louis--January 7, 2010--Jan Holloway, senior vice president and chief of staff for Monsanto Company, is the featured speaker for the Distinguished Speaker Series, March 16, 5:30 to 7:15 p.m., at the Millennium Student Center at UMSL.
This is the 19th year of the Distinguished Speaker Series, a milestone for the College of Business in bringing to campus a business leader of notable achievement to talk on a timely topic. For the last several years, the March program has been in observance of Women’s History Month, featuring women who lead in various sectors of the business community.
The UMSL Executive Leadership Consortium/Division of Continuing Education puts on the program each year, funded by UMSL Alumni Relations and E. Desmond Lee Professor for Developing Women Leaders and Entrepreneurs in International Business.

“Students who are about to graduate and really starting to seriously plan their careers are very excited about meeting people who are successful in their future occupations. This is an opportune time for them to interact with leaders and be influenced by their concepts and views,” said Malaika Horne, director.
Karen Carroll, executive fellow at the Consortium and president of kcienterprise, will moderate the program.
